My Yellow Series is inspired by the first signs of spring—the early blooms, bright new growth, and the birds that return or reappear as the season begins to shift. Yellow is often the first color to stand out after winter, and these artworks capture that sense of renewal, energy, and possibility. Every artwork is created using acrylic paint combined with hand-painted collage papers. I build each surface in layers, adding texture, adjusting color, and integrating collage elements to highlight the forms of flowers, branches, and birds. This mixed media approach allows the yellow hues to remain vibrant while giving the composition depth and a sense of movement.
